Who comes to the retreat?
Yogis of every experience level from brand new beginners to teachers, from Miami to Maine attend.
I’m new to yoga. Will I fit in?
Yes! You don’t need to be an experienced practitioner to enjoy the weekend. You will be supported, not pressured, every step of the way.
What if I don’t know anyone?
One of the beautiful things about the retreat is the sense of community that is established at the very first class. You’ll make friends to eat with, hang out with and practice next to throughout the weekend.
What will the weekend look like?
You can check in any time after 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The first yoga session takes place in late afternoon. An after-dinner restoratives practice will insure a peaceful night’s sleep.
Saturday there is a gentle morning practice followed by meditation. A second, later morning yoga class follows until noon. The afternoon leaves plenty of time for napping, reading, shopping or enjoying spa services. Another yoga class is offered late in the afternoon. Your Saturday night is free and open.
On Sunday there is a gentle morning practice followed by another later morning yoga class. Check out is at noon but you can hang around and enjoy the resort if you would like.
A more detailed schedule will be emailed to you as the date of the retreat approaches.
Do I have to attend all of the yoga classes?

What if the unthinkable happens and I have to cancel?
We understand that unexpected things come up that prevent people from attending the retreat. The resort requires us to fill a certain number of rooms. Because we are responsible for this block of rooms, we are unable to offer refunds. With that said, once our minimum room number has been met, we will help you find a suitable replacement to reimburse you for your reservation. If a suitable replacement can’t be found and we have met our required room minimum, we will credit your YftH account for the yoga portion of the retreat.
