Janie Gibson began her career in fitness as a Physical Education Teacher. Janie’s work with students inspired her to further expand her career in fitness. Janie began teaching adult exercise classes for a local community college, and she opened and ran an exercise studio for seven years. In 1999, yoga found Janie and it was love at first down dog! Of all the exercise modes that she has come across through her many years as a fitness professional, she finds yoga the most comprehensive and beneficial for mind, body and spirit. In addition to her Yoga certification, Janie holds a B.A. in Physical Education, Group Fitness certifications with ACE (American Council on Exercise) and Personal Training certification through ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine). Janie is certified as RYT 200 and E-RYT 200.
