Kris originally hails from Alberta, Canada. Seeking a warmer climate, she lived and worked in Bermuda for eight years as an IT developer in the banking industry before settling in Sarasota. Seeking a balance between a fast-paced, stressful work life and high intensity exercise, Kris found and fell in love with yoga. She appreciates the precision and challenges of alignment-based yoga and is very interested in yoga philosophy. Kris holds a fourth degree black belt in Shotokan Karate. She has run four marathons and currently teaches indoor cycling classes several times per week. Kris enjoys cooking, music, traveling and spending time with her beagle, Stella.
