Rose spent over forty years as a registered nurse, working in various specialties in Massachusetts, California and, most recently, Connecticut. During her career, she taught Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Adult Cardiac Life Support to both doctors and nurses at hospitals and outpatient clinics throughout Connecticut.
After years of aerobics and spin classes, Rose one day observed how relaxed and peaceful the yogis seemed to be as they left their classes. She took one class, realized what she was missing and never looked back. That was in 1996.
Teaching yoga and sharing the passion for the practice with others has long been a desire of Rose’s. After retiring several years ago, she decided she had the time to pursue her teacher training. She achieved her 200-hour RYT through Yoga from the Heart with Lynn Burgess.
Since COVID-19, Rose has been teaching outdoor yoga classes as well as on line classes.
Rose and her husband split their time between Connecticut and Florida.
