200-Hour Teacher Training
Do you want to take your yoga practice to the next level? Yoga from the Heart’s RYT 200 Teacher Training Program is ideal for all yoga students who want to deepen their yoga practice, fitness professionals who what to expand their scope of services to include yoga and dedicated yoga students who are interested in teaching yoga. Upon completion of this program you will be qualified to register as an RYT 200 instructor with Yoga Alliance.
Yoga from the Heart’s 200-Hour Teacher Training has been designed for serious students who want to deepen their practice and for those who feel called to teach with clarity, safety, and integrity.
We are not currently enrolling a 200-hour teacher training cohort. However, this foundational program remains part of the history and heart of our studio, and we continue to welcome inquiries from students who are interested in future training ordeeper study.
Our approach is grounded in alignment, anatomy, functional movement, breath awareness, philosophy, restorative practice, and the art of teaching students as individuals.
What our training emphasizes
Yoga from the Heart’s teacher training has always offered a full-spectrum approach to yoga education, including:
Teaching safe, accessible, well-sequenced classes.
Understanding anatomy and functional movement as they apply to yoga.
Using props skillfully and creatively.
Adapting poses for students with different bodies, ages, injuries, and abilities.
Introducing breath awareness and restorative practices.
Exploring yoga philosophy in a practical, meaningful way.
Developing professionalism, ethics, and confidence as a teacher.
Investment
(all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable)
Early Bird Registration: $3,000
Standard Registration: $3,500
Application and Administrative Fee:
$100 non-refundable; to be paid when submitting your application.
Payment terms: You may pay by cash or check. We do not accept credit cards for Teacher Training.
Already Have a 200-Hour Certification: You’ve worked hard and could benefit by adding more knowledge and skills to your training! We want to help you learn by offering a 50% discount. Instead of paying $3500, you would only pay $1,750 and no application fee. We do need a copy of your 200-hour Teacher Training Certificate.
