Our yoga workshops are designed for yoga students of all abilities, from the beginner to advanced yoga practitioners, and present exciting opportunities to begin or continue your study, exploration and practice of yoga. Our topic-specific yoga workshops focus on the nuances, subtleties and anatomical mechanics that aren’t always explored in our weekly yoga classes. In these carefully-sequenced workshops you’ll find a learning environment created to extend your knowledge while advancing your yoga practice.

Yoga For Insomnia & Stress

In this workshop, we will focus on ways to calm the nervous system and nourish the endocrine system. Restorative yoga poses, breathing exercises, meditation, and self-care practices to soothe overtaxed adrenals and balance hormone production in the body, which directly affect our sleep cycles. If the adrenals are depleted through stress, smoking, poor eating habits, or compromised immunity, they cannot do their job. You can keep your endocrine system in balance, or bring it back into balance through a variety of yoga poses, most specifically forward bends, twists, and back bends.
This workshop is designed to help those who may be experiencing any type of nervous system disorder such as anxiety, depression, stress, and insomnia.
